Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in specialised areas of podiatry, including musculoskeletal care for foot and lower limb pain, skin and nail management, post-surgery lower limb rehabilitation, and diabetic foot management. His experience spans a wide range of patient needs, from older adults to young children with developmental foot concerns.

His work involved close collaboration with doctors and surgeons in orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, and endocrinology.
Daniel played a pivotal role in developing evidence-based protocols to ensure optimal care outcomes and spearheaded initiatives like the provision of medical shockwave therapy services. He also mentored junior clinicians, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring high standards of care across the department.
A recipient of the Singapore General Hospital Overseas Merit Scholarship, Daniel graduated from the University of South Australia in Adelaide, where he consistently excelled, earning the Chancellor’s Letter of Commendation and annual merit awards throughout his program. To expand his impact on public health initiatives, he obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the National University of Singapore, Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, enabling him to integrate public health principles with his clinical expertise.
