About Michelle

Michelle Goh is a Principal Podiatrist at Straits Podiatry, based at the Buona Vista clinic. She is passionate about helping patients stay mobile, active, and confident at every stage of life.

Michelle was a recipient of the MOH Healthcare Merit Scholarship in 2013, and graduated top of her cohort with First Class Honours in Podiatry from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2017. During her undergraduate studies she received the Australian Podiatry Association's Leonard K Claxton Award for Clinical Studies in both 2015 and 2017, and the Philip R Perlman Prize for Podiatric Radiology in 2015. She went on to complete a Master of Public Health at the National University of Singapore in 2023, and is a Certified Foot Mobilisation and Manipulation Therapy Practitioner at Level II.

Michelle previously practised at one of Singapore's largest acute tertiary hospitals, where she gained broad experience across the full scope of podiatric care. Her stated clinical interests are paediatric foot conditions, rheumatological foot care, and the assessment of musculoskeletal injuries and lower limb biomechanics, alongside skin and nail conditions and diabetic foot management. She previously led a dedicated rheumatology podiatry service, working in a multidisciplinary team with rheumatologists and orthopaedic surgeons on patients with complex inflammatory joint conditions.

She has also served as a community health lead for podiatry and contributed to peer mentorship. Her approach is shaped by her own experience living with congenital flat feet, by witnessing the impact of diabetic foot complications in her family, and by parenting an active toddler. She values thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, and shared decision-making, including customised foot orthoses and medical shockwave therapy where appropriate.

Did a partial ingrown removal on my left toe with Ms Michelle and her team. From the initial appointment, follow ups, and right up till the final review, Ms Michelle is warm, and really patient with explaining concerns I had. She went the extra mile of checking my right toe too, and shared tips on how to maintain it so that it would not grow inwards. Rest assured that you and your concerns will be taken care of by the entire team there!
